Castro Pretorio is the 18th rione (district) of Rome, Italy, located just north of Termini Station. Historically, it was the site of a Roman military camp and later became a residential area during the Renaissance. Today, it is a bustling and diverse neighborhood with a mix of residential and commercial buildings. Visitors can explore the area’s many shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as several notable landmarks, including the Baths of Diocletian, the National Roman Museum, and the Piazza della Repubblica. The neighborhood is also well-connected to public transportation, making it easy to explore other parts of the city.
