Copenhagen’s Tivoli is the second oldest amusement park in the world and the 3rd most visited in Europe. The park is best known for its wooden roller coaster, Rutsjebanen, one of world’s oldest wooden roller coasters still operating, and for the world’s tallest carousel (80 meters high), Himmelskibet, offering panoramic views of Copenhagen. Besides the rides, Tivoli Gardens run other attractions allowing a discovery of danish culture, as the H.C. Andersen castle, and also serve as a venue for various performing arts, in the Tivoli Concert Hall or in the Pantomime Theatre.
